Save The World

Last Thursday we were delighted to be joined by Congressman John Rose for our third Save The World event since our return. Congressman Rose joined us after a fresh win for his third term in Congress – representing Tennessee’s Sixth Congressional District. As a Tech alumnus, Cookeville native, and previous Commissioner of Agriculture for the State of Tennessee, it was obvious that Congressman Rose was connected to the Save the World audience.

 

Last Thursday’s session offered those in attendance the rare opportunity to interact with a United States Congressman in a very intimate manner. Congressman Rose answered questions and offered his insights on the mid-term election results, bills he plans to introduce, confronting China, the national debt, and thoughts on unifying the electorate. He also shared experiences from his first two terms which have sharpened his approach to getting things done in Washington.
